Organic Ginger Essential Oil is frequently used in aromatherapy for its energising and strengthening aroma. Considered to help motivate and bring clarity, this warm spicy, oil brings a base note to aromatherapy blends. It is ideal for combining with other essential oils and using in a diffuser or oil burner.

Organic Ginger Essential Oil is particularly useful in massage. When combined with a carrier oil and applied topically, it can have a warming effect on the skin, enhancing the benefits of massage. Stimulating and energising, ideal to wake up tired muscles.

Organic Ginger is suitable for use in skincare when diluted. It has astringent properties so is ideal for use in toners or face masks. Ginger Essential Oil can be used as an ingredient in your homemade beauty formulations, such as creams, lotions, bath oils and massage oils.

Certified cruelty free, organic and vegan friendly.

Dilution

Dilute at a percentage of 1% of the finished blend, 1ml of essential oil (approx. 20 drops) to 100ml of carrier oil. Do not use undiluted on the skin. You can use up to 3% dilution for use on your body or in the bath. Consult your doctor or midwife before using during pregnancy.

Aromatherapy

Combine with other revitalising essential oils and add a few drops to your oil burner or diffuser and experience the power of Ginger for yourself. We love Orange Sweet (#105) and Lemon (103).

Massage

Make your own massage blend by combining Organic Ginger with Grapeseed Oil (#210), Rosemary (#108), Black Pepper (#181), Marjoram (#127) and Lemon (#103) for a warming and invigorating massage.

Skincare

Make your own mud face mask by combining Fullers Earth (#502) with Tea Tree Floral Water (#608) and a couple of drops of Organic Ginger Essential Oil. Mix until you get a paste, apply to the skin and leave on for 10-15 minutes (or until it dries). Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Haircare

Thanks to its stimulating powers, Organic Ginger can have a positive effect on your hair. Try adding a couple of drops to your shampoo and conditioner for a concentrated boost.

As with any new product always conduct a patch test before first use.
